AHSAA Mourns Death Of Coach Deanne Hughes

        The AHSAA is saddened to learn of the recent death of Goshen High School teacher and coach Deanne Hughes and joins with its member schools in offering condolences to her family, and to her extended family at Goshen High School. Mrs. Hughes, 43, passed away Wednesday after a courageous battle with cancer.
        Visitation will be Friday at Green Hills Funeral Home in Troy from 3-7 p.m. A memorial service will be held at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Troy at 10 a.m. Saturday. A memorial service will also be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services to follow at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery.
        Mrs. Hughes coached volleyball and softball at Goshen High School for the last 13 years. She is survived by her parents Robert and Nancy Scott, her husband Michael, son Grant and daughters Haley and Holly Hughes.
