AHSAA, Knight Eady Sports Group Sign Partnership Agreement
MONTGOMERY – The Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) has selected Birmingham-based Knight Eady Sports Group to provide event management and marketing services for the next three years. The agreement begins July 1, 2014 and runs through June 30, 2017.
“We are excited about our new partnership with Knight Eady Sports Group,” said Steve Savarese, AHSAA Executive Director. “We feel their marketing and event management experience along with their enthusiasm will be a tremendous benefit to our member schools and their student-athletes.”
Knight Eady’s services will include managing and promoting the AHSAA state football and basketball championships as well as creating synergy with all other AHSAA championship events.
In addition, Knight Eady will be responsible for providing marketing, public relations and sponsor fulfillment services that include managing the AHSAA’s corporate partnership program and negotiating media rights on behalf of the Association.
Founded in 2013, Knight Eady provides full-service event operations, including promotion, management and consultation of live events. In addition, they offer strategic communication plans for enhanced market exposure and branding.
